KidSport North Bay Grant Information
The North Bay Ball Hockey League is proud to partner with KidSport North Bay to help optimize the accessibility of sport for all! KidSport supports children who need financial assistance with sport registration fees and equipment costs. KidSport believes that the power of sport participation promotes the development of children’s social, mental and physical well being. Through increasing access to quality sport programs, KidSport strengthens communities across Canada.
The North Bay Ball Hockey League is proud to once again be an approved sport & league in the KidSport funding criteria.
Please see the information from KidSport below, including the NEW Income Threshold and NEW Grant Limit, Effective June 1st, 2024:
- KidSport Family Income threshold is now $70,000.00
- The KidSport Grant provides up to $600 per child per calendar year for all sports (registration fees, equipment, etc)
Effective January 1, 2024:
- Any child 18 years of age and younger participating in an approved sport in North Bay, and meeting the family income threshold may be eligible to receive KidSport North Bay Funding
Applying is easy. You recieve a voucher that you send the league and your registration is covered. KidSport encourages families to apply online as it is much quicker and easier.
