REGISTRATION

Registration will open February 20th at 6:00pm. Information will be posted here, on our Facebook Page and also emailed to all past players/parents. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. Remember that registration is on a first come, first served basis and there are limited spots in the league.

Age Groups*:
Junior = Ages 7, 8 and 9
Intermediate = Ages 10, 11 and 12
Senior = Ages 13, 14 and 15

*age as of April 1st of the current season

Please be honest with date of birth. Birth certificates will be verified at the arena prior to the first game and any discrepancies could result in the player being removed from the league.

Requests to play together on same team:
The limit is 1 request per player. The request must be mutual between the two players.

All participants will receive:
-Team jersey
-1 pre-season practice session
-15 regular season games + minimum 1 playoff game
-Medals for playoff champions and finalists
-Sports injury and dental insurance

Registration fee is $125.00

*Emails will be sent out before the pre-season practice to notify players what team they are on.

SCHEDULE

All games take place at West Ferris Arena unless otherwise noted.

Each team will have 1 practice at the beginning of the season. Practice will be scheduled for Tuesday April 9th, Wednesday April 10th and Thursday April 11th at 5:00pm, 6:00pm or 7:00pm. This is the only practice of the season. Please see the top of the schedule page for your team’s practice time.

Regular season will start Saturday April 13th. Teams will play every Saturday and Sunday (EXCEPTION: No game May long weekend and the odd Saturday or Sunday where there is an existing booking with the arena – games will be made up on weekdays).
Junior and Intermediate teams will play 8:30am – 1:30pm, with Senior games being played at 2:30pm, 3:30pm and 4:30pm.

Detailed schedules will be posted in the schedules tab of the website before the season starts. The finals are on Sunday June 9th.

2 league referees will officiate games, which are 3 periods (10/10/12) stop-time. Tied games during the regular season will remain a tie (1 point each). Playoff games ending in a tie will play continuous 10-minute sudden-death overtime periods.

EQUIPMENT

Mandatory equipment to participate:
Hockey or lacrosse gloves
Running shoes
C.S.A. approved helmet and face mask/shield (no exceptions)
Hockey stick (no tape on blade)

Optional equipment:
Shin guards
Elbow pads
Knee pads
Athletic Support

***The League does not supply goalie equipment***
